Rules to follow inside the Dojo
1) No unnecessary talking during class.
2) The words “I can’t” are forbidden in the doj0!
3) You are responsible for your partner’s safety. Always practice using good control.
4) Be supportive of your fellow students both in and outside of the dojo. Put-downs and discouraging comments are NOT permitted.
5) No horseplay allowed inside the dojo.
6) Personal cleanliness and a clean gi are required. Must trim nails before coming to class.
7) Respect is an important part of martial arts. Always use “Yes sir!” or “No Sir!” (or “Ma’am”) when appropriate.
8) For safety reasons. jewelry is not allowed to be worn during class.
9) No food or drinks are allowed on the mat, Chewing gum is also prohibited.
10) If you are sick and/or contagious, please show consideration for other students and do NOT come to class!
**Always remember that you are an important member of a proud family.
LEAVE your ego at the door. Be cheerful and show a good, positive attitude at all times.
